Without getting into the fact that I assess complex data sets for a living, I guess maybe it takes a type of intelligence I don't possess to understand how fact A (UFOs render cameras inoperative) and fact B (there are lots of pictures of UFOs) can both be true in the same universe.
If I were asked to explain the lack of photos I might choose the simpler explanation that they don't exist rather than postulating the more complex solution you espouse.

I understand your reasoning.
I just don't believe it is the best ACTUAL fit for the data involved.

Oh,
A simple solution to A and B
is that sometimes they bother or succeed in rendering cameras inoperable.
Sometimes they don't. In fact, sometimes they seem to be performing for the cameras.
Fascinating bunch of data.
