STATE REPRESENTATIVE SCOTT SUDER’S
FLEECING OF WISCONSIN 2003

Did you know that YOU are paying for the following?

8 cents per hour to prison inmates who (get this) Don't Work! ($533,600 of your tax money each year goes to prisoners who sit on their hands doing absolutely nothing.)

28 cents per hour to prison inmates to attend FREE Classes. (That's right$1,650,000 of taxpayer dollars, every budget, pays prisoners to attend free educational classes including literacy training, AODA treatment and other rehab programs.)

Nearly $3 Million per budget goes to maintain the offices of Secretary of State and State Treasurer. (These offices have very limited duties under the constitution, yet taxpayers continue to pay the salaries of 27 full-time staff for the offices.)

State Agency dues and membership fees sent to private organizations totalling $5 Million per budget. (That's right! You pay for Wisconsin to be a member of such prestigious groups like the International Llama Society and the National Hemp Foundation!)

69 state-owned vans which cart state employees from southeast Wisconsin to and from work in Madison every day. YOU are paying for the vans, gas, insurance, maintenance and salaries of 2 full-time state employees who oversee the program.
($1.2 Million each budget goes to subsidize this program.)

The second of Two 18-hole University of Wisconsin Golf Courses.(This has cost taxpayers $15 Million in bonding authority, even though our bond rating is 49th of the 50 states.)

A State Office of Film Production costing $286,100 annually. This interesting program courts millionaire Hollywood producers to WI to make films here.
Shouldn't these moguls pay for their own film scouting rather than taxpayers?

Free housing and/or an "Entertainment Allowance" of $1562 per month for UW Chancellors. Total cost to taxpayers: $300,000 annually. (Did I mention they also get a free state car along with their $150,000 plus state salaries?)

12 Wisconsin Dept. of Commerce "International Offices" throughout the world, including offices in Israel, China, Japan, Germany, Mexico, Brazil and Korea.
Cost to taxpayers: $1.5 Million each budget.

$60,000 every budget to staff the Legislative Hotline, even though every Legislator now has their own toll-free number directly to their office.

A second residence for the UW-System President. (More than $100,000 per year is spent to staff and maintain this lavish second home. This is, of course, in addition to her $304,000 annual state salary.)

A self-proclaimed WITCH as one of our State Prison Chaplains. ($138,000 two-year state salary!)

$50,400 per year for an American Indian Arts Grant(This taxpayer grant gives special, unfair treatment to one minority group over another.)

A Governor's office in Washington D.C. This office is a duplication of services since we have 7 Congressional offices in Washington already.
(Cost to taxpayers: $91,500 every two years not including 2 full-time positions)

An Indian Gaming Computer System costing $1,030,700 every two years. (Shouldn't the tribes be paying for this computer system rather than hardworking taxpayers?)

Is Indian Reservation Gaming different in Wisconsin than other state? Do the Indians pay taxes on the gaming?

Is there anyone that has done this for the federal government? Anyone have any information on something like that?

You wanted specifics on personal use of state cars. Here you go. Read on about half way down.

Have a nice one.....

I also thought you might find the inmate salary issues an interesting read. What type of work do inmates in your state get paid for and how much?

Make out a long form for your taxes each year if you can. See what you can deduct, and take it all.
Donate to Christian Charities (because the left hates it) and deduct the donations from your taxes. (Remember to get a recipt from the Charity group). If you even donate your old clothes or household goods, you can also deduct their value.
Try to buy out of state from a more conservative area. Use the net, a cataloge, or cross the border.
If you want to, buy your kids play clothes at a Salvation Army Thrift Store. It's not only frugal, but the procedes go for a good cause.
Instead of giving your first born child to a car dealer (if you can't buy out of state), buy a good used car. New cars instantly lose value the first day you drive them.
Try natural cleaning items. Food products like vinigar or baking soda aren't taxable.
If you smoke, buy from the net. I hear they're much cheaper and tax free.

We're from NY, and I'll be damned if Hillaryville is going to get anything from me. I'll bend over backwards to deny them every cent I can. I've had enough of the theft. Let the left wing bums get their own jobs!
No way will I pay for prisoners to get a paycheck from me, either. They're not suppose to be there on a vacation!

Most of those line items are typical of all our states, unfortunately, but a witch?

For $138,000 a year?

Somebody needs to put a stop to that!

This kind of BS is being paid for by taxpayers in EVERY state, not just WI..

The Fed is even worse!!

I have heard that nation wide 47% of our money goes to taxes now...

You shouldn't blame this on the left either, the right is just as guilty.. Why should we continue to keep these irresponsible wastfull lawyers in office???

Vote for businessmen, or libertarian, or Constitution... The rest are going to have us in ruin!!

AND have the drive to avoid paying any taxes you can. For me, it's a hobby to aviod taxed items, and finding legal deductions. They pi$$ed me off, and I'm not giving them another penny if I can aviod it.

I have contacted most my Wisconsin legislators and asked them to change the state vehicle tags from "State Owned" to "Taxpayer Provided". There is no such thing as State Owned.

Doing so would enforce a reality commensurate with the fact that the taxpayer is providing the costs in operating that vehicle. It would cost nothing except for a modification to the existing stamping die which forms the plates.

If the other Wisconsin Freepers would do the same if they think this is a good idea, please contact your gubmint reps too. California has them scared and they are willing to do anything that supports the notion that people can control their government and it's largesse in Wisconsin.

That's because Dad brought home a whole paycheck. With 47% being taken now in some sort of tax, both parents have to work to bring home a normal income.
The kids are being raised as wild animals by the village, and the social parasites are growing in number by the day because they can simply live off others via the politicians.

Socialism never works. It's a nation destroyer.

STATE REPRESENTATIVE SCOTT SUDER’S FLEECING OF WISCONSIN 2003

Just a suggestion but I'm sure you have heard about what we did in California - out with the crook who sold himself to any bidder. We haven't finished, there are a lot of others to flush out.

That achievment and now getting Terri a reprieve, just goes to show you what we can accomplish if we all stand together.

If you wish to start a recall there, let me know if there is anything I can do. Call, write or E-Mail.

If the Indians are not paying taxes I can’t understand why the state would be subsidizing their gambling dens.

I would bet the state is getting some kind of cut out of the casinos cash flow.

I'm not much of a bumper sticker guy, but recently I placed a small, tasteful oval about 3 inches across on my back bumper. It reads:

Born Free...

Taxed to Death

I only learned how to feel this way being a lifelong resident of the Badger State.
