"Do you know of any other books about the 'second civil war' which are up to the minute in their history, including 9-11, the Beltway Sniper, the Patriot Acts? If you do, I'd like to hear about them."
Just the ones that are vanity published.

Sounds like you are in the publishing industry, one of those agent-groupies who thinks it's still 1968 on 5th Avenue, and computers have not been invented. Good luck with the buggy whip sales, but I don't have 3 years to knee crawl through Manhatten fellating every literary agent in sight. Some folks do enjoy that, but I don't have time.

Well having actually read and enjoyed Travis's book let me say a few things. First off it has one of the nicest covers of any book I've bought recently. It positively POPS off the shelf in my library. It is extremely professionally produced, from that standpoint. Secondly the book is well proof read. I did not find any errors in it whatsoever. I buy lots of books from mainstream publishers that have WAY MORE errors in them. Lastly, and most importantly it is A DAMN GOOD READ! The character development is outstanding and the pace keeps you interested. All in all I felt I got my moneys worth and will definately by the next installment. Oh, yeah, it's available at Amazon. What else do you want? Would it be a better book if it said Simon & Schuster in little letters on the bottom of the cover? I don't think so.
I think
