God has not made a choice. But God is definitely in control of this situation. Not one sparrow falls to the ground without our heavenly Father's notice. Do you not think that God is in control of the actions of men.

People haven't changed a bit, have they? The nails keep on going in His hands, going in, going in, going in...and the hammer is rationalization.

Serious problems here, my friend. You commend those who oppose capital punishment but decry thos who commit murder. The Bible not only gives the power of execution to the state, but God's Law clearly allows it.

Second, Jesus has ceased from ALL of his suffering. Before he gave up His spirit, He said "It is finished!"

Third, to compare the suffering of a mortal woman to the suferring of Jesus is blaspehmy. Even though this woman may have done nothing worthy of this kind of treatment, she is not in any way comparable to the holy Lamb of God.

This is why I am bemused and a little bothered by these threads. Twisting scripture and theology to achieve a result is unrighteous and frankly, unnecessary. You do not have to make this woman a martyr in order to make your point. These kind of comments are simply over the top.

I support capital punishment and hope to see it extended to all who molest children, the helpless, and the aged--in my lifetime. I apologize if you misunderstood me somehow.

And as far as my allegory there goes--that's all it was. No blasphemy was intended--I am saying that the KIND OF PEOPLE WHO CRUCIFIED JESUS, and who stood by and WATCHED HIM DIE, are still around. We have not improved a bit as a species. That's all I meant.
