This is awesome news. But I guess it's not over yet? Let's keep praying! And there's still time to email!

I'm praying for a miracle. That this woman could survive 7 days with no water.
I am afraid that Felos and company will do something to speed her death now that they've heard this news :-(

Who do we call to get them there tonight?
To: CindyDawg
I think they said it will get taken up tomorrow morning. Like I said, tonight was an exercise in grandstanding. If they were serious about helping Terri, they wouldn't wait another 8 hours.
To: apackof2
She is in an airconditioned room, without much physical activity. She may be in good enough shape to keep going for a few more hours. She may already be gone, for all intents and purposes. It is not over, yet.

keep praying...

I'd like to see a new lawyer represent the family. The one that have has her heart in the right place, but she is not a very good advocate for the family.

It is not a miracle that she has survived this long. Right when they pulled the feeding tube, doctors said she would probably die within 7 to 10 days. Tomorrow at 2 pm will be 6 full days.

Most definitely praying - prayer is our biggest weapon now anyway, senate or no senate, since she's been without water for almost 6 full days.

I agree.
It's their political cover in case something happens. They should have done something months ago.
However, let's not underestimate Terri. This girl has fought off illnesses without medicaton that would have killed someone in her condition. She's a fighter with a purpose.
I am going to keep the faith that she will hang on.

I don't get why a Florida Senator gets to sleep while Terri gets no water. It brings to mind those children they found in that Iraqi prison. The ones who had been there for X-number of years... while the UN "discussed" what to do about Saddam and gave the inspectors "more time". So now, Terri has to dehydrate some more until some senators can rouse themselves from sleep and find the time to vote?
To: shezza
Don't we have to wait for the senate to approve it before the tube goes back in?

I'm not sure you can live too long without water.
