This judge needs his head examined, leaving this guy in charge of an adolescent. I wonder how often she gets fed, and whether she's grasped that having starving animals all around your home is not okay?

But what about when judges and "hospices" starve humans? Shouldn't they be punished too?

Where is this? The references to Burlington and Woodstock had me thinking Vermont but that would be Chittenden county, not Kane.

Anyone who thinks a child should lose her sole parent over a wolf, a racoon, and a couple of horses is sick.

Animal abuse should result in fines, not prison time. Animals are just animals - the child comes first.
