OK, this is a very interesting post. This article is dated 646 pm, so it is very recent. The senator proposing the legislation, Jim King, has been quoted all day as OPPOSING any such legislation. The article also states that they will convene at 730 pm to address this very issue?

Baffling. Good find, but what is going on here and what is to be believed? Reports on legislative activity all day have proven to be false or greatly exaggerated, and then this from seemingly way out in left field, considering the details.

The article isn't clear whether they're going to convene at 7:30 p.m. for action on Terri's law or on the Scripps legislation--the reason they called the special session--and I just found it posted at the St. Petersburg Times update section.

I'm sure there are freepers or Terri's reps in Tallahassee who could find out.

That means the calls we made this morning to King's aid may have been helpful after all. Not to mention the fact that the phones in the background sounded like absolute mayhem while I was talking to her, and she was tearing her hair out in frustration...LOL.
