Isabel was a serious hurricane in our parts (Williamsburg/James City County). The storm's eye disitegrated and turned into several smaller eyes, causing tornadoes and microbursts. My neighborhood and the road its located off of was hit by a microburst, and there are trees that were literally twisted and mangled in several directions at once. Usually after a hurricane comes through you'll see swathes of trees laying in one direction, but not with this one. I had two large red oaks in my backyard that were laying in different directions, and they went down at nearly the same time! It was not a fun hurricane to go through!
