I was so miserable before I clicked on this thread. Wouldn't have believed I could laugh today.

Sorry you are having a bad day. Since reading only the first page, my mind keeps racing through songs. They've kinda become a medley.

I'm leavin' on a jet plane; don't know when I'll be back again...

Busted flat in Baton Rouge, and headed for the train; feelin' nearly faded as my jeans...

By the time I get to Phoenix, she'll be risin'...

All the leaves are brown - hum, hum, hum - and the sky is grey...

Geeze -- this is just so much fun, I don't know how to turn it off!!

Reminds of those K-Tel record ads that played ad naseum on tv in the 70s and 80s. They gave you snippets of songs but the ads had so much rotation that they created virtually created their own "remix" of the hits. There was one albums of songs from the 1950s and 60s and there was the odd lyric combination of:

Bend me shape me won't come back from dead man's curve.
