The goal, I am convinced, is to sideline everyone who cares about this, until she's dead. Then, they come out, crocodile tears at the ready, wringing their hands, with a stack of photocopied sheets that detail "how hard we tried, but it was a race against the clock, and those nasty democrats, blah blah blah, blah blah blah..."

I know. It is nice to see someone who has the same thoughts I do. I believe they will wait until she is gone and talk (barely) about what an injustice it was, etc...
Jeb Bush has been pretty spineless here. He was already on thin ice after the Rilya Wilson story broke. He will not get re-elected. He had other ways to deal with this than try to get a bill passed.
I wouldn't blame Terri's family if they never forgave Bush for his running around and not doing what he could. The husband (I use that term loosely) is a disgrace to humanity. To think that while Terri dies, his girlfriends mother is "guarding" her to make sure no one feeds her.
Call and ask why the bill wasnt introduced. You will be amazed at the replies.
