I hope that WHEN she is spared, she progresses as best she can with her therapy and is shown to the world that she is not a "vegetable."

I pray that this would put a dagger in the euthanasia movement, or at least be a major victory against it.

If the special legislation only puts a stop to the starvation, Terri won't be in any better shape otherwise, because barring an act of God, Schiavo and Greer will still deny therapy. But it's a start.

I pray that this would put a dagger in the euthanasia movement, or at least be a major victory against it.

It puzzles me how these starvation deaths can be called "eu" thanasia at all. They are not quick or easy, like we even afford to condemned murderers. Cacothanasia?
