Anyone who was getting their information on this case from the news was getting a thin gruel indeed. This has been a grass roots effort for quite some time and the people on this site have done a magnificent job of applying pressure wherever it could be applied. Besides, the battle is far from won. If this case becomes a precedent, I think it will be a precedent against this euthanazi-a by any other name that has been creeping under the radar into our system.

Your "concerns" sound like hand-wringing to me.

Have you ever heard of the law of unintended consequences? Sure this could affect euthanasia, but it could also allow a far-reaching liberal state to impose its will on conservative Christian parents that choose alternative lifestyles or educations for their children.
