I'm told there is a life insurance policy with a double indemnity clause and her death will be officially listed as accidental. I've read that, but don't recall seeing a source. Seems odd that the insurance company would be wanting to pay out without an investigation or autopsy.

Depends on which company wrote the policy ... if the fiance is the agent, there is no telling how the scam could settle out.
