So is the score on the thread title (1-0) the game score or the series score?

Series score. Maybe Admin Moderator will change it (or maybe he's psychic and knows what will happen in the next inning).

A Yankee Fan reports to the World Series thread...

Can the Yankees do the impossible and get a clutch hit w/two out?? BTW, Soriano has screwed us again...

It's the series. First pitch flew as I was trying to post a live thread with as much info as possible in the title.

Admin will respond to multiple requests for clarification soon enough, and maybe next time the live thread will be started by someone who has more than a passing interest in the game....someone who knows the protocol and cares enough to get it right.

Matsui nails one again. Damn but he's something else. Isn't he the one I heard about early this season that got his nose majorly busted by a pitch?

THE MAN! Let's import the other Matsui. KAZ Matsui, second baseman. Let's export Soriano back to Japan!

I don't follow baseball enough to know. The Series is a must watch though. I watched yesterday's game start to finish...

WHYare we always subjected to shots of Derek Jeter, no matter WHAT happens on the field?? He didn't have a damn thing to do with that home run, but for some reason we have to see his reaction. Ridiculous.

With a purposeful stance and a beautiful swing
He pulls those splitters high high down the line.

Helpless pitchers on pitcher's mounds
Scream "Oh sh*t" as he looks them down.

He picks up a curve and he smacks it gone.
As he smacks them fast balls over the center field wall.

Oh no, they say he's got to go:
Go, go, Godzilla!

Oh no, there goes Minnesota:
Go, go, Godzilla!

Oh no, there goes Boston:
Go, go, Godzilla!
