Now remember, I have been a Yankee fan since 1973, so I have no great love for the Marlins, but I like this team. Rodriquez is going to end up as one of the top five Catchers of all time. This Juan Pierre guy, who I am just really getting to know seems to be a breath of fresh air. He comes out early to study the field. He spends time in Monument Park at Yankee Stadium. How many professional athletes do that sort of thing nowadays. Maybe Cubs/Red Sox would have been a bigger TV draw. So what, they didn't win, so I'm not going to lament their absence.
