"Pain-in-the-butt" is a figure of speech, as you are well aware. Hitler and the Nazis were a pain-in-the-butt during WWII. Some pains-in-the-butt are more severe than others, but none of them are pleasant. Today, Mexico is a pain-in-the-butt to the United States.

They are more openly racist than the Klan ever was. Given their reputation for mindless cruelty, and less than stellar military skills, bet on them making a bad solution worse.
