Have you ever sat by the bed of your disabled child, prayed day and night that God would show some mercy on her body, that God would give you some hint of an idea of what to do in the situation you found your self in. Have you ever hooked your child up to a feeding tube and watched a freakin machine feed her for 21.5 hours because her body was not able to gain weight otherwise. Have you ever sat by the phone praying that a donor heart would become available for your child, knowing good and well that with that prayer the death of another child would take place...

Dont you dare talk to me about highly charged emotional anger, you have no idea sir.

Until you are where I have been, where other parents of handicapped children have been, please, sit your self down and hold your HEALTHY family close... we will fight the fight for our children, and while we fight that fight, we are praying that you NEVER find yourself having to fight for one of your own.... it is something no human being should ever have to go thru, but it is something that I am proud to be apart of.

AMEN SISTER! It always seems that the hedious beeping on the feeding pumps go off at the worst times. Like when one finally gets time to enjoy some good REM sleep.
