I am posting this message from Pinellas Park Florida concerning a matter of utmost urgency. At this very moment the state of Florida is committing a crime against humanity. A young woman named Terri Shiavo is being starved to death in Hospice care by order of the Florida courts. Terri suffered massive injuries several years ago which left her in severe physical condition and in need of major therapy. However, her husband has seen to it that Terri had no therapy or medical treatment, making it clear that his only wishes were for Terri to just hurry up and die. (lots of life insurance money involved) When he saw that Terri was going to fight for her life he began proceedings to have her euthanized
The mainstream media has lied about this case from word one saying that Terri is in a comma or a persistent vegetative state when she is actually very responsive to the attention and instructions given to her by others. The media has also stated that Terri is on life support which she is not
.The only way Terri is assisted is by a feeding tube. Her injuries have left her unable to chew or speak because she has been denied any type of rehabilitation. Terris husband is strongly suspected in this case. Nurses and countless others have filed affidavits with Floridas legal system stating that Terris husband is extremely abusive toward her and that he tried to kill her by giving her injections of pure insulin while she lay in the hospital. Yet, no criminal investigation has ever been carried out in this matter
.why? Because Terris husband received nearly one million dollars to pay for Terris rehabilitation, and it is strongly suspected that he owns the judge who is handling this case. On Wednesday Terris husband won his battle to have her murdered, and her feeding tube was removed from her body
She has had no food or liquids since 2 pm wed. I came to Florida to investigate this matter. I just couldnt believe that this could happen in America. But its all true and a helpless Terri Shiavo lies dying a horrible death while her parents and loved ones are kept from her side by armed guards. I have been standing vigil with Terris family for the past two days and I must say that this is the most horrifying thing I have ever witnessed. We need your help to get Terris story out before its too late. She only has a couple of days left. Our group has been in contact with Jeb Bush, who has the power to take executive action and stop this atrocity from occurring in his state. Jeb is obviously more worried about his political career than he is the life of one of his constituents
.Dont let Florida hide Terris story any longer
.Go to her web site www.terrisfight.org and get the facts. You will be alarmed at what you see. Please call president bush, Governor Bush, and any other government officials you can think of, but most of all help us to get the truth out. I have watched reporters from CNN, FOX, WGN, CBS, ABC, and MSNBC interview Terris family. They are filming and reporting the truth but it is never getting past the cutting room floor. Please call your local papers and radio stations
.We must get the truth out or this woman will be dead very soon. No one in Floridas courts or political system will even hear Teris case or her familys cries for justice. I guess its just not good politics to try and do the right thing anymore. Please help
. everything you do can make a difference
If the state of Florida can get away with murdering a helpless woman then the rest of us are fair game
PLEASE HELP. This is REAL and its happening right now.

The state law is premised on a person being in a persistent vegetative state, which Terri clearly is not. And there most certainly can be an investigation of attempted murder. Unfortunately, the courts have ruled she is in a persistent vegetative state. That's why the courts Michael Schiavo can have the feeding tube disconnected.
I do believe that FDLE has already investigated other complaints made by the Schindlers--about the broken bones--and, although I don't have the precise wording, they declined to have the case prosecuted.
The only good that will come out of all this is there will be changes in the state law.

Interesting info on Greer
HONORABLE GEORGE W. GREER
Judicial Practice Preferences
Probate
I. Probate Proceedings
1. For courtroom trials, Judge Greer prefers that attorneys request permission to approach
the bench and to approach the witness, however, he does not have a preference
regarding whether attorneys request permission to approach the clerk.
2. Judge Greer indicated that voir dire examination is not applicable in his courtroom for
probate matters.
3. Judge Greer indicated that the practice of serial voir dire is not applicable in his
courtroom for probate matters.
4. Judge Greer prefers to leave it to the attorneys to decide when Motions in Limine are to
be heard.
5. Regarding pre-trial conference practice, Judge Greer (1) will sometimes pre-try a case;
(2) does not only pre-try a case involving trial time set for periods exceeding two hours;
and (3) does not pre-try a case only upon request of the attorneys.
6. Judge Greer does not routinely enter an Order, sui sponte, declaring matters adversary,
he prefers to leave it to the attorneys.
7. With respect to venue, Judge Greer prefers to try cases in his chambers.
8. Judge Greer finds that the issue of entitlement to attorney fees shall be tried in the main
action and that fee affidavits are sufficient in lieu of expert testimony providing there
are no objections thereto.
9. Judge Greer has not experienced adequacy problems with Probate Lawyers trying cases. However, he acknowledges that in
regards to experience with probate lawyers trying
cases, he does feel that the Probate Bar should sometimes associate experienced trial
lawyers when trying cases.
10. (a) When marking evidence to be used at trial, Judge Greer prefers that all evidence be
copied and exchanged five (5) days prior to trial. Judge Greer also prefers that all
evidence be pre-marked by counsel and that the Judge mark the exhibits.
(b) When showing tangible evidence to the Court, Judge Greer prefers that the
attorney, after showing same to opposing counsel, then show the exhibit to the witness
without showing it to the Judge first. 11. When there are witnesses or parties involved in a will contest or other adversary action
from around the country, Judge Greer allows testimony by telephone upon notice to all
counsel and approval by the Judge prior to trial.
12. Judge Greer never requires parties to attend mediation prior to trying disputes involving
probate matters.
II. Probate Administration
1. Regarding bonds for personal representatives, where the Will waives the requirement of
a bond, Judge Greer will waive the bond only if there is a separate petition to waive
bond explaining the reasons therefore and mechanism to insure integrity of performance,
however, Judge Greer noted that this seldom occurs, and in fact occurs about less than
ten times in ten months.
2. Judge Greer always extends time on petition for extension to file necessary documents
providing there is good cause shown.
3. In light of Dimitroff v. Taylor, 20 Fla. L. Weekly D389 (2nd DCA Feb. 10, 1995),
Judge Greer feels that attorney representation is sometimes necessary in family
administration. Judge Greer further stated "Note: No personal representative in family
administration. Odd decision."
III. Guardianship
1. On the Petition for Appointment of Emergency Temporary Guardian, Judge Greer feels
that it should be brought to the Court only in a circumstance of life, death or substantial
waste of property.
Courtroom Demeanor Comments:
1. Judge Greer stated: "Attorneys should stand when addressing the Court or questioning
witnesses."
2. When asked about other practice and procedure pointers (especially for the more specific
areas such as traffic, small claims, juvenile, etc.), Judge Greer stated that the attorney
should "become familiar with (the) bond schedule and submit (the) requisite bond with
(the) Petition." Judge Greer also attached a copy of the bond schedule, which is
attached on the following page.

"the courts have ruled she is in a persistent vegetative state" And it is clearly a lie. Just like the courts have ruled that a fetus is not a person. Also a lie. So at what point do you take a stand and say that the courts are out of line and have overstepped their authority? When they say that the Down's syndrome child is not a person and can be killed, or quadraplegics such as Christopher Reeve, or maybe not until a kid down the street from you is hit by a truck and the court rules that he is no longer a person because he won't ever be able to walk again and can't speak quite as clearly as before. Or maybe you are one of those people who will afford godhood to the courts until they come for a healthy grandchild of yours because she/he is the wrong gender or is born with a genetic predispositon to some illness.
I am not saying that I believe you to be that kind of person. I don't. But I do think that these cases have serious implications for our future and the future of our children and grandchildren and what I see are the conditions of pre-Nazi Germany which should not be tolerated by freedom loving people, especially Christians, at any level.

Pretty standard court rules.
In our county, one can only approach a witness to hand the witness an exhibit, but it's prefaced by "Your honor, may I approach the witness?" After that, the attorney has to go back to his or her seat or to the podium. Ditto for approaching the bench.

Whether it is a lie as to whether Terri is in a persistent vegetative state is something that's outside the court order and court rulings. And I was discussing the court order and court rulings. The Schindlers have tried their best to get the ruling that Terri is in a persistent vegetative state reversed, but have been unsuccessful. Their lawyers have said, in essence, there's nothing more they can do, that they've exhausted all legal options. The only thing they are litigating is whether Michael Schiavo can have Terri cremated.
When I watched Terri's sister and brother on Fox last night, they came close to saying they intend on suing Schiavo and others in a wrongful death suit, so I can only guess the litigation over Terri won't be over for a long time.

" If the judge raped her, that is a clearcut violation of the law" Well, as long as we are swimming in the sea of silliness here, if he raped her, what harm has he done, since she supposedly is in a PVS and incapable of feeling and deserving of death? This may be in poor taste, but what would they charge him with...sex with a vegetable? Or necrophilia?

"I can only guess the litigation over Terri won't be over for a long time." No, it won't, nor should it be. But we are supposed to have a system of checks and balances in place to prevent courts (or any other branch of government) from overstepping their authority and that system is badly broken. It will ultimately fall to us, the people, to do something about it, because those in power, of either political party, seem to have another agenda at work and the people be d*mned. Of course, whether WE even have the will and the guts any more as a people still remains to be seen.
""This country, with its institutions, belongs to the people who inhabit it. Whenever they shall grow weary of the existing government, they can exercise their constitutional right of amending it, or their revolutionary right to dismember or overthrow it." - Abraham Lincoln (first inaugural address)

That reminds me... Felos contradicted himself. He says she is in a PVS, or a braindead vegetable... yet they didn't allow Terri to recieve the sacrament of communion because he said he didn't want anyone to do something that might cause her distress.
(from terrisfight.org)
In a statement to the press, Michael Schiavos attorney, George Felos stated that the reason for this was that he didnt want anyone to do something that would cause Terri distress.
If he really thinks she is a braindead vegetable, how can he think receiving communion could upset her? Mr. Felos?

Then, if my guess is correct--that the Schindlers are going to file a wrongful death suit when Terri dies--wouldn't they be going back to the same court system that overstepped its authority?

He has meekly mewled, shrugged his shoulders, and sighed. If he cannot use his legal authority to save her life, he should BOLDLY use his moral authority to express his outrage loud and often. He should use the governorship as a bully pulpit to call for a change in the law, to challenge the Florida legislature to do its duty to protect innocent life. If what is required is a state constitutional amendment, he ought to take the lead to promote it.
If it is too late to save Terri, Jeb ought not let her murder be in vain. He must lay the groundwork now to prevent the murders of future innocents such as Terri.
In my opinion, he's showing moral cowardice--not competence. If I were a Florida resident, I'd be just as meek and equivocal when deciding whether to vote for him. Until and unless he shows the spine and vigor to back up his pro-life verbiage, he deserves nothing better.

I am just back from the Hospice center. If you think I am a Bush basher you
would be wrong. I have fought for Life for 17 yrs. Right back to the first
Bush. I have tried so hard to reconcile the fact that Not a one of them has a
passed a single bill forth worth anything we could use to stop or slow down the
anti life agenda. You say this site is for Terri . Get on the band wagon and ask
Mr and Mrs. Schindler what they think of the Gag orders going out to all law
inforcement that could stop this. FDLE, FBI , Local Police, Anyone and
everyone who could and should help is being told to lay off this one. My Husband is
in law enfrcement. You can criticize everyone involved but at the end of the
day it is JEB BUSH who is the one who is pulling the strings. Afraid! Oh My Lord
I am scared to death at what I am seeing. They have this tied up. There are
no orders to stop feeding Terri regular food yet noon seems willing to talk to
Mr. and Mrs. schindler about giving Terri food. These Law enforcement people
are told to back away and when a police officer gets this message you know what
it means. This is the info at the Vigil. As I said it goes all the way to the
top. We are being set up and the Schindlers are the guinea pigs. There are
some serious things happening at the vigil. List of peoples names are
disappearing, being ripped out of a list for the parents of Terri. We stood out on 66th
st. People were mostly supportive. Some extremely Rude. Terris parents think
that this war is simply against them. It is not. This will set precedence in
court rooms around the country for along time. Schiavo vs. Schindlers. Can't you
see it now? Terri's name will be used to help put future Terris to Death. I
wish I could say this wasn't true. I have stated before this battle has been
waging since the First legal abortion and you know after today I am tired. This
isn't about Republicans vs. Democrats. This is Christians and other people of
God against the Anti-Christ forces of Evil with Mr. Schiavo as the patsy.
Wake-up Im tired, Ive only been fighting this for 17 years others 30 even more.
Someone has to step up to the plate. First Listen and learn. Then pray. Ask God
for a super fast lesson in modern warfare then get ready to have you mind
blown away. As for me I will ask the Blessed Mother of Clearwater to shine Her
grace upon Terri and her family. Because that is why She came at the same time
as this case . To awaken us of the impending battle ahead. Don't believe me? I
challenge all of you to ask Jesus with an open heart. Then come out to the
vigil. That will be enough to show you. MEG

I don't think they will give up, but they have to be emotionally exhausted from this ordeal, plus facing the death of their daughter, and their deep grief. They're going to need time to heal, but they're not going to give themselves that time. Their daughter is their life, this case is their life and soon--barring a miracle--both will be gone.
Even if the lawyers say, "we'll take care of everything," it's simply not true. Their clients, the Schindlers will have listen to the lawyers, make decisions, even be deposed, at a time they're still emotionally depleted.
