Then her ONLY chance is that a Federal court steps in.

I said it earlier... I'll say it again: If there is no justice for Terri in this life, justice will be done in the next.

God will hold this innocent in His loving arms, and the wicked will feel the fires of retribution. This is my heartfelt prayer.

No living will for us. Caring for a helpless person is not always a burden to those who love their family member, sometimes it is a blessing to those who help.

Many of us have gone through it and would do it again in a heartbeat.

Remember she is not being "allowed" to die any more than a person being hanged is "allowed" to die by the rope.

This is what you see when you peel back the pretty mask of euthanasia, evil in all its ugliness. Those who could do something to stop this evil and have not, have taken the side of the ugly evil by omission. Before this, perhaps they simply could hide their sin of omission by the rationale that maybe it is for the best.

Not this time! This time they are complicit in an ugly murder for all the world to see, that is, all the world that is willing to see.

Terri is being murdered. No other word fits. Sadistic murder, Brutal murder, State sponsored murder.

Plenty of people are there to step in to help Terri if it is allowed, but how much success have any of us had in convincing the forces of evil to be merciful? Those forces are too desperate to see her die, at all costs.

Please, make some sort of advance directive, if not a living will, stating that you want to live anyway.

No matter what side of the issue you fall on (want to be kept alive or wanting to be let go) you need to have your wishes in writing so that everyone knows where you stand if you can't speak for yourself.

Or else you run the risk of someone saying "well, they said they didn't want to be kept alive this way" and having the plug pulled on you when you don't want it.

The Terri case has really gotten me off my butt to do something about my own advance directive. Unpleasant to think about, yes, but the alternative is even worse.

You make a good point.

As it turns out, all around us these days know exactly how we feel, but vigilence is essential. Many a time we saved our son from the wishes of doctors who would have terminated him sans our being there.

We also were with a woman who was dying and the doctors pulled the plug without telling a soul and almost without our detection. A friend with us was a doctor and it was too late anyway, but he pointed out to us the rate of drip from the morphine was a fatal dose. Her family had no input and we were simply friends. That was in France, soon to be at a theater near us all.

If Terri had a boxcutter under her pillow
she could get herself declared a terrorist &
Homeland Security could be called in
and she would receive better treatment
as a terrorist...
than as a citizen of the good ole U.S.A.
