From what I understand of physiology, Terri is, and has been for awhile, undergoing permanent organ damage; every additional hour of delay is taking months or years off her life.

If Bush has "other options" in motion, he should have used them by now. If he waits much longer, Terri will be a vegetable whether or not she was before.
