With a divorce he won't get the $$$ and won't have the power he obviously (imo) craves over her life and death. He also risks her getting better which let the cat out of the bag on why she collapsed 13 years ago. He would also give up the right to have her immediately cremated so no autopsy can be done. Nope, he MUST remain married to her.
