Well I guess that's it then. We'd better leave right away. Pfft!
An audio tape huh? No video seen of the heralded leader in quite some time and only that which looks to have been made back in the past.
Could be he's maggot food.

DUBAI (Reuters) - Al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden has vowed to carry out more suicide attacks within the United States and against U.S. targets outside America to punish Washington for its "oppression", the Arabic satellite television Al Jazeera says.
"We, God willing, will continue to fight you and will continue martyrdom (suicide) operations inside and outside the United States until you abandon your oppression and foolish acts," said the text of an audio tape purportedly by bin Laden made available to Reuters by Al Jazeera.
In the text bin Laden urges Iraqis to wage holy war on U.S. "crusaders".

Quite lengthy audiotape. At least 19 minutes long. Validating its authenticity shouldn't be a problem.

Audio.....hmmmmm
He must be dead.
The audio piece, coupled with the announcement that his son will "become the leader of Al Qaeda" says that changes are being made to bring the organization up to speed with irrevocable events. (The death of Bin Laden.)

Could be he's maggot food Or, could be he's directing an attack far larger than Sept 11. Underestimating an enemy is always a foolish mistake.

I'll be convinced he's still alive if he makes a reference to the US suffering the same fate as the Cubs and Red Sox.

Hmmmm...I understand from Holy Writings that the place where OBL makes likely domicile allows no outgoing messages, except once from a beggar Lazarus, and a rich man.
Then again, perhaps them 72 virgins keep the old carcass to busy for quill and parchment.
How could any man handle such a crowd beats me...
Take a number?
First come, first served?
And would a stand-in be allowed for the occasional baseball practice?

From the AP:
Bin Laden Said to Urge Youth Against U.S.
Associated Press
CAIRO, Egypt - In a new audiotape broadcast Saturday by Al-Jazeera, a voice purported to be Osama bin Laden saluted resistance groups fighting the U.S. occupation in Iraq and warned Iraqis not to work with the Americans.
"We call on all Muslims and Iraqis ... beware of working with the American forces. ... Whoever works with them is an infidel," he said.
Bin Laden said: "You young people of Islam everywhere, especially from neighboring states, and Yemen, you have to go wage jihad and show your muscles. Follow the right path and don't follow people who follow their whims ... who want to divert you from such a mission."
