Hmmm, I'd have to do more research on this one, but it may have been the one that named Michael Schiavo as guardian. It should be on Terri's website. The website's timeline only goes back to 2000. But if Greer's first case was the one appointing Schiavo as guardian, it would seem unlikely that the family would have invested in the legal research to determine whether Greer might behave less than fairly in any matters regarding their daughter. I see no way they could have known that their failure to challenge Judge Greer's allocation to the case would cost their daughter's life.

Bob Schindler told me that prior to toward the end of this case he really believed that the legal system was fair and just, and what was morally correct and right would win. The family has had one hell of an education.
