"he needs to act, and whatever action in this case he does, he needs to do it fast"

If Jeb continues to sit on his hands like a craven statue while poor Terri dies of thirst and hunger,
#1 He's lost my vote forever.
#2 He will go down in history as a weak, spirtless, and cowardly "pretender" to the office of Governor. He will show everyone that he doesn't possess the internal fortitude to lead a State, let alone run for President, and that his pretensions to defend innocent life are just a whole lot of hot air.

We all know that Governor Bush can kiss any political future goodby but, just curious now, was President Bush's trip planned before or did it just come up. He was in the country Thursday as he spent the day in California. I'm sure he is aware of all the E-Mails and calls directed to him concerning Terri.

I have been a staunch Republican for years but, I am begining to think the party is losing courage and is not willing to fight for principal or rights. Just bend in the wind.

The only comforting thoughts I have is that Terri will soon be in the arms of God and all of these people responsible for her death will have to stand before the same God to be judged. Oh, that he allows Terri to name the punishment!
