NYT, WaPo: Gaza Bombing America's Fault
From LittleGreenFootballs.com/weblog
Both the Washington Post and the New York Times have articles about yesterdays attack that killed three Americans in Gaza, blaming it on Israels crackdown on smuggling tunnels in Rafah and the one-sided US support of Israel. (Hat tip: davesax.) They both sympathetically quote the same 17-year old Palestinian, with the lovely name of Jihad Amari, who was among the savages who stoned American rescue workers at the scene of the bombing.
The WaPo:
However, as Israel has demolished homes, assassinated suspected terrorists and established checkpoints and closures in the Palestinian territories in response to Palestinian suicide bombings, Palestinians -- particularly in the Gaza Strip, where sentiments are more strident and radical -- have grown increasingly angry with the U.S. government for offering no criticism of Israel. American policy "is one-sided in favor of Israel and against us," said Jihad Amari, 17, a high school student who was among the crowd of young Palestinians who threw rocks and stones at the U.S. investigators at the scene of the blast.
NYT:
The area is a metaphor for the desperation of the Gaza Strip, where nearly a million Palestinians are bottled up in poverty by Israeli checkpoints and barriers thrown around Jewish settlements. Anger has crested to new heights in the last week in the wake of an Israeli crackdown in Rafah, a refugee camp on the Egyptian border south of Gaza City where hundreds of families have been left homeless after their houses were destroyed by Israeli troops searching for gun-smuggling tunnels.
At the site of the bombing, feelings ran high. Before the crowd began stoning foreigners, Jihad Salim, a young man in a white T-shirt, said many Palestinians would feel little sympathy for the United States. "America has to pay for its foreign policy, which is against Muslims," he said.
Refresh my memory. These were the same people who danced in the streets, ululated, and passed out sweets to celebrate the 9/11 atrocities, right? The same people whove been murdering Americans in Israel for years, in university cafeterias, on buses, in cars? The same people who name their children Jihad?
But according to our mainstream media, its US policies that make them want to kill us. Its our own fault for supporting Israel. Never mind that this diplomatic convoy was on the way to interview young Palestiniansjust like 17-year old Jihadfor scholarships to study in the US, on the US taxpayers dime. We deserved it because we wont do anything to stop Israel from destroying the smuggling tunnels that bring in the explosives they use to blow us up.
This kind of twisted reporting, giving equal weight and value to the opinions of murderers, is why an increasing number of people are turning their back on mainstream media.

The media bias against Israel and the United States, by American "news" organizations is sickening, and is getting no better.
What are we doing, what can we do to actively let these organizations know we are not too dumb to recognize their propaganda?

Between Americas press,Bill and Hillary Clinton,Ted Kennedy and Madeline Albright there seems to be a consentrated effort to overthrow and demoralize America. This whole damn crowd is selling America out and trying to destroy us it seems. This is almost like a dream and unbelievable.

I guess that the fact that the Americans who where killed had commited no crime toward the pali's other than to try to give some of them a college education and hope for the future is lost on the Times and the Post.

I'm thinking the Yankee fans should be really careful when they go to World Series Games, because there might be some Florida fans who understand that the Yankee fans are "one-sided in favor of New York and against us."
Their favortism may cause them to get bombed or something and it would be their own dang fault!

ROFL...Anything they can present as a "poor oppressed 'palestinian'" works for them, forget that he is a rock throwing vandal his parents have lovingly named JIHAD.

I think the concept of objective news is lost on the times and the post and others. There is no objective news, just left-wing, socialist secular propaganda, except for Fox.
BTW, why are we giving money to pals for education in our country? I'm sure there's an american someplace that can use a scholarship! And the Demo's are yelling about money going to Iraq that could be spent here...how about the money going to our enemies?!?

if committing crimes against the arabians was the standard they used for begetting terrorist acts then the "terrorists" would be killing their own leaders and those of the arabian states.

I agree, it's a very bad dream. They seem to want to sell us out to the UN and the socialist, secular, anti-Jewish Euroweenies, who are angry at Americans for not wanting to be like Europe.
It's hard to maintain Christ-like thoughts when I see what these people are doing.

It's especially disgusting since the NY Times has always been run by a Jewish family and Jewish editors who seem willing to sacrifice Israel to their bizarre ideologies.
They are American America-haters and Jewish Jew-haters. They love the murderers and hate the victims.
As I said, disgusting.

Yeah, they're "bottled up in poverty" because the Israelis throw up barriers around their settlements and have checkpoints. The U.S. is being one-sided by not demanding they remove the barriers immediately so the Palestinian poverty can escape.

Wow Wolverine what a powerful video! I'm sending to everyone in my address book, even though alot of them will get angry to receive, what they will consider "hate" mail. They would rather keep their heads buried and listen to mainstream media. Maybe a move further out for my family is needed.
