The use of the term bigot was used out of context only by the author and yourself. I did not, and will not, use that term, for those who in good conscience, think that gay marriage is either 1) a bad idea for the polity on prudential grounds, and/or 2) bad because it is against he will of God. I would just say that I dissent, and look forward to meeting and joining them in the public square to hash it out, and let the majority rule. I don't think most folks are animated by evil or a bad spirit, and refuse to treat them that way, or label them that way.

Good for you, but note that almost every member of a homosexual activist organization refers to all who believe that homosexual behavior is wrong as bigots, even though this is the belief of all but a small minority of every major religion.
