Subject: The Senate Must Censure Senator Kennedy Dear Senator Hagel, Senator Edward Kennedys recent conduct on the floor of the United States Senate has been far, far worse than merely conduct unbecoming a United States Senator, thus the Senate, to preserve its own integrity, must vote to censure Senator Kennedy. If Senator Kennedys recent series of comments had been made off the floor, he would surely be guilty of defamation. The floor of the U.S. Senate is not a shielded perch from which to defame the President of the United States. More pertinently, it is disgraceful for a United States Senator to stand on the floor of the United States Senate and issue lie after lie after lie, defaming the President of the United States without a shred of relevant, competent evidence, and with no consequence. For this, Senator Kennedy deserves the strongest reprimand the United States Senate can issue against a member. Senator is making a mockery out of the Senate. Even Senator McCarthy was censured for far less. I CAN NOT imagine what the service men and women thought or will think when they hear this senator's statement that our soldiers WERE NOT LIBERATERS! Just what does he think they are? What is he implying? No matter what one thinks of the policy of the President, whom I happen to support, this senaor from Mass has gone too far! How DARE he blather such bunk! Can he think past his party to the families of the service people who have given their lives for this cause? Can he think past himself to the service people over there now? Can there be any words that would deflate moral faster and harder? If they are not liberaters to that senator, then does he think they are murders? He needs to explain himself in front of the ethics committee! By the way...this senator from Mass, thinks 20 billion is too much to help free and get an entire country on it's feet, but thought 7 BILLION was just fine to dig a big hole that only services his state! Talk about selfish! To preserve the integrity of the United States Senate and the sanctity of its chambers, the Senate must act immediately to censure Senator Kennedy. Sincerely, YOUR NAME YOUR ADDRESS
