Of course immigrants love immigration:
The more of themselves they bring here, the more votes they have, the more they can have things their way in our country.
Answer: We do want them.
Wrong. We the people (The USA as you called it) don't want them. The idiot politicians want them and it is they that control the borders and ignore the people.
As I've been saying, America should stop all trade with Mexico, until the Mexican government does its job of stopping its people from invading America.
The Mexican government is much more efficient in such matters, and could do it cheaply.
So, there should be a trade embargo on Mexico until it stops its citizens from tresspassing onto American property.
How Mexico would accomplish this, is none of my business.
You, no, but generally a lot of commerce has become dependent on these people.
No, the people do not want them here. Some business's might, but it is not because they depend on them, it is because their profit margin depends on them.
Yes many do, because they can make a profit from it and they know the politicians won't allow the laws to be enforced. And businesses do not represent the people.
The people don't want the illegals here, but the people are to stupid to see that by electing the same idiots over and over will not fix the problem.
The tolerance is ending. In time, the people will figure it out and the two parties will be in trouble. Until the people figure it out, the problem will persist, but that is not an indicator that the people want illegal immigration.
They are all using force as they are breaking the law. They have come here to take and they do to an extent that would make a citizen a criminal. It is illegal immigration that is fueling gangs and drug smuggling, overburdened prisons and rising crime rates.
Yes, but you haven't given the justification as to why your definition of invasion is grounds enough to have extra-judicial killings.
You know you are debating about something that doesnt even exist at this point. Since the govt has allowed this problem to spin out of control into a crime wave, how do you justify the extra-judicial neglect that has created the situation where we have 205 corpses and counting lying around the desert?
What if your store was infested by a bunch of peaceful, non-confrontational, trying very hard to steer clear of you, shoplifters? I'm just pointing out that breaking the law is force and not peaceful.
Thats true, our country should pay attention to the constitution and the rule of law. Our illegal immigration "policy" and the disregard for the destruction it causes is proof of how corrupt our govt has become.
I have yet to figure that one out. I agree, the anger should be focused at Washington, not Mexico, unless your speaking of the Mexican Government, which is just as bad as ours.
Doesn't say a lot for representative democracy, does it, if the will of the people is so easily thwarted.
No it doesn't.
Anyway, doesn't lessen the tragedy of these people dying horribly.
No it doesn't.
Lots of people die in agony all around the world every day.
Yes they do, and there deaths have nothing to do with this topic.
The will of the people, the rule of law and the constitution.
But why does the anger focus on these people and not the ones who hire and use them.
I would like jail time for employers. This would end alot of the problem almost overnight and very few employers if any would actually go to jail.
Doesn't say a lot for representative democracy, does it, if the will of the people is so easily thwarted.
It sure is insulting isnt it?
Anyway, doesn't lessen the tragedy of these people dying horribly. But, it's no big deal. Lots of people die in agony all around the world every day.
But these are dying because of the problems our govt has created.
Pemex --- Mexico's big huge oil company is nationalized --- but of course all the profits from oil go right into a very few pockets --- out of all that oil money, you'd think they could offer some services of their own to their people ---- I mean if they want to be Socialized, then they should do it right ---- the oil should benefit the people. At any rate welfare, social services, education for Mexican nationals, medical care for Mexican nationals should be outsourced to Mexico --- just like all our manufacturing plants and garment shops have been. For one --- they need the jobs down there, and for another they can provide education, healthcare, welfare services and the rest cheaper. But with all the money Mexico has --- they don't really need the USA taxpayers to do it all for them.
