Other than the fact that the arguments have great internal weight of their own you are correct.
Do you think, truly, that this woman's constitutional rights are not being grossly violated?
Amazing how FReepers can argue for limited government and state sovereignty until either (a) the cows come home, or (b) they don't like the result...and then they demand expansive government.
Pretty oblique commentary there. But hardly surprising since you know darn well that I'm not arguing for expansive government, I'm arging for someone to have the guts to protect one poor, defenseless woman from a bunch of murderous ghouls.
Are you a ghoul, too? Or simply so much of a contrarian that you just have to jump into a situation like this and make a muck of things?
Pooie is a simple troll. Always has been, always will be.
If he had a last name, he'd have to stick "flamebait" between it and his first name.
Thank you.

They are. But the Schindlers' attorneys aren't arguing in terms of Terri's constitutional rights, but in terms of how there's some legal mumbo-jumbo that will let them revoke Michael Schiavo's guardianship--which is not the case. That's why I'm getting suspicious of the motives of the attorneys.

You're arguing that Jeb Bush must ignore his legal counsel, put his subordinates at risk of criminal prosecution, and ignore the laws of the state of Florida, instead of the Schindlers' attorney arguing from equity.
You don't want a governor. You want a man on horseback.
That will cut both ways.

Nope. I'm just a guy pointing out that the Schindlers' legal team is throwing the case.
But that bothers you not at all.
