Most definately I would want my wife or child to have the very best care money could buy. I would beg, borrow and steal to provide it. I guess the difference in what i'm saying and what actually happened is that i'm looking through the eyes of a spouse who truly cares about their partner and this fella has screwed her every chance he's gotten. Perhaps she wouldn't be in the state she's in if she had gotten the care she needed at the time.

Bingo!
You GET it!
Whew!
She also wouldn't be in the state she's in if -- according to the doctor who examined her neck -- she hadn't been strangled. He said he'd only seen that type injury one other time, in a strangling victim. His implication was obvious. The legal advisors Bush solicited also picked up on the question of the curious origin of her injuries and said it needed investigation. Besides the neck injury, they also found a variety of other broken bones. She fits the classic profile of an abused spouse.
But, if she dies -- or lives, but is denied speech therapy -- she'll never be able to talk about what really happened to her.
You'd think a "loving husband" would WANT to find out what really happened to his wife, n'est ce pas?
Hmm...

I'm so glad that you are seeing the benefit of not being spoon-fed by the media at large, and of doing some honest looking at the background material. In this particular case, there is a plethora of evidence to suggest that Michael is NOT the loving, caring husband that he keeps trying to project through his lawyer.
