There've been outstanding suggestions made elsewhere that the Schindlers' lawyers refused to consider. I think I can be forgiven for wondering what their agenda is--whether it's to actually save Terri's life, or to generate the most publicity for themselves as she dies.

I'm becoming convinced that the Schindlers' attorneys have anything but the best interests of Terri at heart. They've screwed this case up by the numbers for three years now. They keep arguing this law, and that law, and another law over her...and they ignore the fact that under Floriduh's warped laws, Michael Schiavo holds all of the cards.

At that point, you quit arguing the law and argue in equity--something that a C- first-year law student would pick up on instantly, but that Schindlers' attorneys have NOT. Either the Schindlers are massively unlucky in their choice of attorney, or the attorney's playing to another agenda (like self-promotion) and playing a very cruel game with the Schindlers.

The involvement of notorious ex-Freeper and even more notoriously self-promoting attorney Jack Thompson makes me VERY suspicious.

Those are disturbing points. I can only hope you are wrong about that, for the sake of Terri and her family.

I do think you are wrong that posting here is 'doing nothing'. People read people learn and people act on that. Others read FR to see which way the wind is blowing and I suspect sometimes they act on that. At a minimum FR does a lot of educating in spite of all of the throw away posts and that is not 'doing nothing'.

There are people here who are interested in doing more than posting and are grateful for any ideas that can be used. Losing heart is not an option.
