Nope, he needs to be thrown into a swimming pool filled with double-edge razor blades, then rolled around in two inches of table salt, and then be given a bad haircut.

All because he reached for a foul ball that was coming down a foot in front of him.

And all this over a GAME! That's right, boys and girls...all this over a game played by grown men wearing silly little uniforms.

Anyone who's ever been at a ball game knows that your eyes follow the ball, especially when it's coming toward you. This guy was looking up, instinctively put his hands up, failing to see the fielder coming toward him. This guy did not cause the Cubs to give up 8 runs and the people trashing him need some serious home made shock therapy.

When he had a front row seat along the line.

That's not an ordinary seat, that's a "hey, I can reach out and touch the players" seat.

That's a "hmmm.... maybe I shouldn't," seat.

Yeah, but if it wasn't for that fan trying to catch that foul ball, the Marlins would never have pounded Cubs' pitchers for 8 runs.

Yeah...I guess you're right...too bad he didn't get paid to make a 2 hop error like the shortstop did. It's just too bad that he just happened to be a fan that may have naturally went after a foul ball like many fans do. It's just too bad that he caused a team of professional baseball players to lose their composure and fall apart by letting their anger and emotions get in the way of their professionalism. After all, the next game for these professionals may have been the world series. Yep..it's just too bad, that this guy stood 6 inches away from allowing an outfielder who is yet to have proven that he would have caught the ball either. The only difference being, if he missed...would the Cubs have lost their composure? </sarcasm>

Nope...instead we have a group of highly paid profesional baseball players blaming their miracle season on...a fan. And many Chicago fans (many who were probably drunk at the game) blaming it on one of their own.

Gee...just what WAS that shortstop's name...
