Very true, it'll go down as "The Fan" incident.

No problem. I think everyone was just venting in their own way.
I'm hoping it'll die down for him and that he gets contacts and grows a goatee. He'll need it for awhile.
I agree about the Cubs being paid proffessionals but I tend to look at this from the "I'd rather be lucky than good" standpoint.
You can be really good at what you do but you still need the lucky breaks to be great. Alou catching that ball would have been one of those breaks.
Just wait until next year.

Go rattle your bag full of chicken bones some where else.

They have been cremated and cast across Wrigley Field!
To: gunnedah
Uhm yeah, sure they have.
Go take another hit from your bong.

Well look at Grady Little today. There's talk of firing him by Red Sox fans, he made precisely the same mistake as Baker (who did it 2 days in a row), in the exact same situation 2 days later, and there was nary a peep out of anyone about Dusty leaving Prior in wayyyy too long.
Facinating, no?

Not surprising really, people have been saying for awhile that Grady would get fired, mind you not that they have any reason to.
The mental midgets on the Bo Sox make it nearly impossible to manage the egos of that team.
