Fox Sports ^ | October 15, 2003 | Section9

Post responses on this thread. Do or die for the Marlins. Break the Curse and Go to the Series or sink into ignominy for yet another year for the Cubbies.

Which will it be? Quien es mas macho?

Remember, Obey the Billygoat.....

Be Seeing You,

Chris

So Bartman should just head out for a normal night on the town tonight? No big deal.

thanks for telling it like it is. I am so sick of people being so silly as to blame a fan for a major league team loosing a game and the playoffs. The team has no one to blame but themselves. Denco

1) Great series, congrats to the Marlins for taking advantage of every chance they were given.

2) Being from Buffalo, I can sympathize with the fine fans of Chicago -- you deserve better.

3) The series may have actually been decided in Game 5...

4) When will we see Bartman on "America's Most Wanted"?

Jack McKeon made a brilliant move when he put Cabrera in RF and Lowell at 3B and Encarnacion on the bench. That really solidified their lineup.

Show a sense of humor.

At least a sense of 'gallow's humor'.

Yep, being from Buffalo, you have really been through your share of heartache -- like the Denver fans until they finally won it.

Sorry, I was rooting for the Cubs (I'm a suffering Mets and Orioles fan), but the Marlins are a very good baseball team. They do have the stuff to win the World series over the Yankees. The Marlins beat the Cubs' best. This is one of the biggest chokes I have seen.

THE BILLY GOAT CURSE LIVES!!

Not only the Cubs players choked but the fans also choked!

BARTMAN STRIKES!!!

Bartman will never forget this. That is not a good thing, for a human to forever remember something bad. Even if he isn't the victim of violence, he will likely kick his own ass forever after. Pretty sad scene in my book.

Your concept was great, but the execution needs work...

1. Severe beating.

2. Gunshot, followed by severe beating

3. Stabbing/impailment/ being poked repeatedly with something sharp, followed by gunshot, followed by severe beating.

4. Hanging and left on display right out of the entrance to Wrigley, after having been a victim of a stabbing/impailment/ being poked repeatedly with something sharp, followed by gunshot, followed by severe beating.

5. "Suicide"...jumping from building, hanging, gunshot...etc.., after hanging and left on display right out of the entrance to Wrigley, after having been a victim of a stabbing/impailment/ being poked repeatedly with something sharp, followed by gunshot, followed by severe beating.

Cause ya' love 'em, that's why. I feel so sorry for the Cubs fans. But lovin' 'em just wasn't enough to get them to pull this one off. DANG!!

Pudge Rodriguez is named MVP of the series.

As a Marlins fan, its kinda hard to enjoy this victory.. I'm happy they won, because that TEAM is a great bunch of guys, however, somewhere in my heart I was also rooting for the Cubs, because those fans deserve it!

Oh well, now I can concentrate on rooting against the dreaded Jankies, or Medias Rojas.
