I had to watch my Grandmother in a vegetative state for over a year. I got to see everything that comes with it. Thanks but no thanks....that is not living & I KNOW that she wouldn't have wanted to stay that way. You have your definition of "living" & I have mine. Feeding tubes & ventilators are not a part of it. Thanks :)

She is at a age that could be rehabilitated. Answer this.......if your grandmother was 39, showed signs of improving with therapy , would you still KILL HER DELIBERATELY?? I doubt it.

But Terri has had no ventilators, only the feeding tube. And she is NOT in a vegetative state. I understand what you are saying, having just watched my own mother waste away for six months, no tubes, no resusitation.
THAT, however, is NOT Terri's situation.
