Bill Press on MSNBC says putting a pillow over her face would be murder but starving her to death (in this prolonged matter) would not be. "Death with dignity" my arse.

Bill Press is an idiot. There are LAWS against people starving their pets or animals. I guess it's OK now to do it to humans.

FOX is reporting "a comatose woman is BEING ALLOWED to die"...

The removal of the feeding tubes will be the direct cause of death, no matter how Bill Press or anyone else slices it.  At least he understands that it's murder to put a pillow over someone's face!

Sometimes a family is faced with a difficult decision to remove breathing tubes.  When removed, the person succumbs to whatever ailment they might have had (cancer, for instance).  The body is not able to undertake breathing naturally, and so there is no moral problem with removing the ventilator -- the primary cause of death would be cancer.

Feeding tubes are different.  Removing the feeding tubes makes the primary cause of death starvation.  Add to the mix the fact that she doesn't want to die, and we've got a moral crisis on our hands.
