For starters maybe he could demand that the police that have been posted by her door to keep her parents from moving her to Canada where she'll be safe (I can't believe I'm saying this) be sent home! If by some miraculous means they could get her across the border they can make a claim for refugee status. It is automatically granted pending a hearing that would be well into the future. By writ of our Supreme Court, she would immediately be sheltered under the Charter of Rights and Freedoms just as if she were a Canadian citizen...including the right to medical care as she requires it, no questions asked.
Sadly, barring a last minute miracle, or agressive firm intervention by Governor Bush (National Guard?) I fear it's soon to be too late.
Question...if a post-death medical exam (autopsy?) demonstrated her neck injuries were a result of abuse by her husband, could he be charged with murder?
Prayers...

They would not need to go that far...take her to the nearest church and claim sanctuary.

No, that would be considered "domestic violence" under FL law, and the statute of limitations has already expired for that. It would not constitute murder under FL law. So long as the state kills her for him, Schiavo is free!
I wonder if he is really popular in the neighborhood, or do the parents tell their kids to stay away from the Schiavos, a whispering-like campaign?

That is a good question. Of course, you would have to act quick, since MS has already requested that funds be released from the trust fund for Terri's CREAMATION....
