Just saw that same email on a thread from an earlier post.
The AP story from the Herald makes it sound like Jeb just made the remarks a short time ago.
Is anyone else seeing or hearing breaking reports that he may intervene?

I heard breaking news of his Jeb's intervention twenty minutes ago on the local news - I'm in Tallahassee.
He's doing everything he can.
