ISLAMABAD, Oct 15 (Reuters) - Pakistan said on Wednesday a senior al Qaeda official may be among the eight suspected militants killed in a clash with Pakistani forces near the Afghan border earlier this month.
"I can't confirm but there is an apprehension that there was a man who had a price on his head among those killed," Information Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed told a news conference. "He could be among the top 10 or 15 (al Qaeda) people," he said, without giving further details.
