I try to point out the difference and the motives behind addiction to prescription pain drugs.There are places where this is true, to be sure. However, as a recovering addict, I am here to tell you that in terms of recovery, there is no difference. Initial motivation is not meaningful when trying to quit.

The situation that I have and others who use this drug for chronic pain is to accept the addiction. To deal with the addiction. To maintain control of the addiction.
Rush did indeed fail to do this and has hurt himself by doing so.
