Who has the right to take her life if she is not dead?
To: RedBloodedAmerican
A judge.
To: joesnuffy
Listen, y'all... I'm writing all the Bushes and O'Reillys I can think of touting an idea: this is "cruel and unusual mercy" (they consider it a "mercy" to starve her to death, right? But isn't it worse than anything we'd do to any felon or terrorist?) I'm thinking if we can get that phrase out there and make it bumper-sticker ubiquitous, we have a chance.
CRUEL AND UNUSUAL MERCY
CRUEL AND UNUSUAL MERCY
CRUEL AND UNUSUAL MERCY
CRUEL AND UNUSUAL MERCY
CRUEL AND UNUSUAL MERCY
CRUEL AND UNUSUAL MERCY
E-mail someone! Anyone!

CRUEL AND UNUSUAL MERCY
That's my catch phrase for what's about to happen. Pass it on, okay?

A judge has the right to play God?
Funny.
The other night on another thread you were accusing me of attacking Christians.
If Terri is or were a Christian, here you are advocating her death?
Something doesn't quite seem right, does it? Maybe you're playing God.
To: Conservababe
How many of us vote for our judges? How many are just appointed?
And how many judges allow a woman to be killed at her husband's request?
We pay too much attention to our congressmen and not enough to the supreme rulers....judges.
To: Conservababe
Ok, after reading your comments, it appears that you and I are in agreement, in which case I misunderstood your reply to me, and apologize. But if I didn't misundertand you, then all bets are off!
To: RedBloodedAmerican
Please put my quote on this thread?
To: Conservababe
Go find it yourself, I wont play games with you.
To: RedBloodedAmerican
Oh, stick with showers, series, hugh and other mundane juvenile antics.
We, adults, are discussing something important.
To: Conservababe
Oh, I do. I do. You better believe it.
To: MagnoliaMS
The courts are now ruling the country. My pastor said we now live in a judicial monarchy.

I think you may have misunderstood her post.
To: MarMema
Your pastor is correct. Unfortunately.
To: MagnoliaMS
And, the culture of death is looking more and more like Germany, circa 1927 or so, every day.
Wesley Smith says, and I found it online, that in Critical Care Journal there are physicians discussing taking live children from the ICU, Boston Childrens, for their organs. Before they die.
The physicians say there are precedents for this kind of action, both domestic and abroad.

"Who has the right to take her life if she is not dead?"
The correct answer would be "no one".
I don't think I misunderstood anything. Let them clarify if they need to.
To: Devlin
Alright, Devlin. What say you?
To: RedBloodedAmerican
Really, I think that was sarcasm.
To: MagnoliaMS
Ok, then as I followed up, there was an apology if I misunderstood her. I didn't catch the sarcasm.
