You have spyware that rewrote your hosts file. Look atthe file HOSTS under your c:\WINDOWS directory and see if there are any entries that redirect the Google domain name to another server.

I just did a Google, and the weird popups are GONE! That spyhunter works!

Try to get a virus search and destroy to clean out the virus. A while back, Lycos hooked up with my Google (without my permission) and now it's gone. WooHoo!
