Russia plans to suggest several changes in draft resolution on Iraq

Russia intends to suggest amendments to the U.S. draft of a U.N. Security Council resolution on Iraq, a senior Russian official said Tuesday, according to the Interfax news agency.

Deputy Foreign Minister Yuri Fedotov, Russia's diplomatic point man on Iraq, said Moscow plans to suggest "a series of additional but very important amendments" to the most recent draft resolution, Interfax reported.
