I have been looking for a good photo of the Westin Peachtree Plaza Hotel in Atlanta, but there aren't many. Several years ago the Professional Photographers of America held their convention there. I didn't go, but JK did. I forget which floor he stayed on, but he said it was really weird - he watched a thunderstorm going on in the clouds
below him! That's a bit too high off the ground for me. LOL.

Thanks Free! Can you believe The Thin Man didn't know the correct spelling for Chattahochee? He had to ask me!Now you did it! Not only did you just misspell "Chattahoochee" (hehe.... wonder if that was intentional) for the *third* time but you force me to mention a couple of other errors.

Although I was born in North Carolina, I consider myself a Georgian. My Fathers family came over on the prison ship and I grew up in SE Georgia.
Sure do miss it too.

Great picture of the Peachtree Plaza. I've been to the top of that a few times, never saw a thunderstorm up there, that must have been amazing!

Why, thank you. It is a quote by Kahlil Gilbran.

Hi Thin Man.We had phun on Sunday!.....;)I phound it was rather unpleasant, especially that "scrawny" comment! :-)
To: The Thin Man
That's the first time I misspelled Chattahoochee. Remember the other two times I pasted in other peoples mistakes! lol!
I see you found some more mistakes, still think you should be the official spellchecker before we post these things.

Now I have Georgia on my mind ;)Thank you for this beautiful thread today Aquamarine! What a lovely place Georgia is. My parents raved about Savannah, but alas, I have not been there yet. I have LOTS of travel in America to undertake! PS Thanks for tea, Billie :)

The Thin Man so very rarely asks for help that I'm not inclined to criticize him when he does. Fact is, as we all know, it would be better if he were more candid regarding his need for help in certain areas. ;)
To: The Thin Man
But seriously, is "scrawny" a word? No really, I'm just curious.
To: Shanda
My Fathers family came over on the prison ship and I grew up in SE Georgia. Thanks interesting. Alot of the people who settled this area came over on English prison ships and were dumped here.
