Man Attacks Stain in Trousers...Destroys Apartment Mon Oct 13,10:36 AM ET Add Oddly Enough - Reuters

MOSCOW (Reuters) - A Russian man may wish he had stuck with having dirty trousers after an imaginative attempt to purge a stubborn paint stain on them destroyed his apartment.

The unnamed Muscovite added a liter of petrol to his washing machine to help dissolve the stain, Itar-Tass news agency reported Monday, but the ensuing explosion wrecked his kitchen and demolished two internal walls.

Moscow police confirmed there had been an explosion in a south-eastern Moscow apartment, but would not comment on the cause.

Clue to all you newlywed guys....Screw-up one load of laundry with one of your wife's favorite items, and she will restrict you from doing laundry for life!

It works for the laundry but nothing else. Except cooking. But the deal is, I cook. He washes the dishes.

Hubby washed his new red nightshirt with the "whites" the year we got a washing machine for the first time. That would have been when we moved from an apartment to a house, in 1982. He indeed has not washed a single load of laundry since. But the downside is, he had to wear pink undershirts and undershorts until they wore out . . .
