"Things are so bad I'm feeding corn stalks this year. Dry matter will not go back into the soil this winter I'll tell ya. I have a neighbor who is even using soybean stover as silage. Many hayfields died out after first crop this year."

Wha?

The more money for farmers routine. The futility of farming on an individual scale. Cheap food equals mega-farms owned by investors and monopolies like Sam McDonald and ADM, wallowing in farm subsidies. Impossible to farm on a smaller scale. It will eventually end up with monopolized food production and food prices which are low now will become astronomical to control distribution. Most food produced will be shipped elsewhere.

Farmer doom and gloom parlez'.
