Another aspect of the Middle East conflict that the mainstream press doesn't want people to know. If Israel is concerned someone might be militant or extreme in their views they prevent them from doing harm. The Palestinians, OTOH, encourage extremists to violence.
The court acted not because they feared violence from the Temple Mount Faithful, but because they feared Palestinian violence if anyone but a Muslim entered Judaism's holiest site.

Muslim opinion regarding the right of Jews to go to their Temple Mount is less than irrelevant.

The world has no reason to believe that Jews have a legitimate right to visit the Temple Mount as long as the government of Israel does not.
