There are plenty of people out there hooked on prescription drugs prescribed by their doctor. I do not hold this against these people but I do hold people who do illegal drugs responsible for what they do. Am I wrong?

Well, any prescription drug obtained without a prescription is illegal. Rush has screwed the pooch here. I feel for him and anyone else in his situation, but live by the sword, die by it. We should not hide behind any spin, just deal with it. Anything less would be hypocritical.

When the patient sets his own terms and purchases more chemicals than prescribed he is of course setting in motion the distribution of illegal dangerous narcotics.
Mr. Limbaugh needs to stop making excuses (my poor back) (don't want the operations) (can't stop) and realize he is not in control...and it is time to let go and take some of the advice he is so quick to pass out...pun intended.

There would seem to be a difference between a chronic-pain sufferer and someone who shoots up on crack for the heck of it.
