I can't see how a referendum whose only effect is to repeal a law could be effectively challenged in court. The only things they could attack are the language of the petition (which has already been approved by the SOS), or the conduct of the election.

Both are very tough legal hills to climb. It is a very different thing than challenging an initiative.

Thanks for the information. I believe that this will get on the ballot and will succeed (barring any massive voting fraud).
