What is the source for Bush having no authority to intervene?
That's what I thought too until others began saying over the weekend that he could intervene. Then I was unsure.
He can pardon a murderer but not stop the execution of a disabled person through the removal of a feeding tube.

What is the source for Bush having no authority to intervene? What law authorizes him to countermand a judge?
Those who say he he has some magical authority to intervene are engaged in wishful thinking.
